Aventure Pattes Blanches (or “white paws adventures”) offers dog-sled excursions in a beautiful setting just ten minutes from Matane.

Duration: Half-day outings.
Schedule: Sunday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Admission: $125.00/adult, including trail guide.

Eighteen downhill ski runs, ranging from novice to expert. For snowshoeing enthusiasts, there is also a groomed trail along a creek on the Mont-Castor site.

Available services include rental and repair of skis and snowboards, inner tube sledding, and a professional ski school for ski and snowboard monitors and Canadian Ski Patrol.

On site: lockers for skis and boots, waxing room, chalet rental, and the Club Alpine restaurant and bar.

Opti-Neige is a huge winter festival with a renowned snow sculpture contest and wonderful fireworks. The enchanting site is also the strategic location for the animation for a multitude of activities that continuously take place during the three days of the festival.
