The challenge trail and the labyrinth of the college in Matane are open all year for hiking, snowshoeing and skiing. Easy hiking. The trail covers about 6 kilometres and the labyrinth 2.3 kilometres. There are riddles in the maze and the goal is to find the objects scattered throughout the meandering path in order to get the answers to the questions. Geocaching on the entire course. Pets on leash allowed.

Access via the Matane Wildlife Reserve
This trail runs across the Gaspésie with over 650 kilometres of trail for short and long excursions. The Matane Wildlife Reserve section of the trail passes through the Chic-Chocs for over 100 kilometres (moose included), with lodging in campgrounds with platforms and enclosed shelters.

Located in Saint-Léandre de Matane, six kilometres into the forest, the Trails of the Grotte des Fées (the “Fairy Cave”) offers outdoor enthusiasts hiking trails that vary from family level to intermediate. The arboretum and the wildlife, historical and geological information allow visitors to discover the region’s forest heritage. The site provides access to a canyon, a waterfall and a 500-million-year-old rocky grotto. The scenic outlook at Lac Adèle provides an ideal site for birdwatching. The trails are 12 kilometres long, round trip. Car access to the Grotte and the trails.
