A place where the present pays tribute to the past
Established as a parish in 1869, Baie-des-Sables is renowened for its architectural heritage: the lovely homes, the wharf and the old mill (1838), the rectory (1864) and the impressive steeple of its church, which during the summer season can be visited by the public and offers a local handicraft exhibit.

Make a stop at the cheese factory to try our farmhouse cheeses: mild and aged cheddars, or soft Camembert-type cheese. New and unique in Canada, “Le Rayon d’Or”, a semi-firm probiotic cheese. A spreadable cheese has been added to the range of products.
Schedule: June to September, daily, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. October to December, Thursday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed in January, February and March. Open in April and May, Thursday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
