Located in the lighthouse keeper's dwelling, the Tourist Information Office of Matane will charm you with its maritime decor and the quality of our services. Our personnel will be happy to help you plan your stay, and provide you with all the information you need for a great vacation in the Matane region. High-speed Internet service is provided free of charge. While you're here, why not visit our magnificent lighthouse, which is more than a century old, and offers a splendid view of the town and the sea.

You fell in love with the region of Matane during your trip and you want to settle here? Contact the Service d'accueil des nouveaux arrivants de La Matanie (SANAM) to get answers to your questions about housing, work, community and more!

With the collaboration of Place aux jeunes La Matanie, the MRC of La Matanie and the city of Matane, the SANAM has designed 19 thematic sheets to facilitate your settlement and integration in the region of Matane. Intended for individuals and families from another country or region of Quebec, they contain information on employment, housing, transportation, weather and more.
