Chalet Le Valmont

The Valmont Cabin, in Saint-René-de-Matane, is a gorgeous living space for rent, located on the outskirts of the Matane River. The river, known for its salmon abundance, is easily accessible via the cabin. Mountains surround the area so visitors can have a secluded and peaceful stay. The village also benefits from a microclimate, which makes its weather hotter than in Matane. It is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy with friends and family.

This round-log Scandinavian-inspired cabin can greet four guests. The living area is divided into two bedrooms with queen size beds and a pullout couch as well as two bathrooms, with one including a shower. Utilities such as bedding and towels are provided. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with a microwave, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a toaster and a Tassimo machine. A TV and Wi-Fi access are available in the living room and you can even light the fireplace on cold nights!

Outside, you can find a barbecue and a large picnic table. You can choose to relax under the stars in front of the campfire or sip your coffee quietly on the small patio. You can also do your daily yoga routine by the river’s outskirts.
