Located in the heart of downtown, the Promenade des Capitaines highlights Matane’s rich maritime heritage through the stories of its most renowned captains.
Each summer for the past five years, the promenade has also hosted a temporary exhibition called Histoire de Promenade, which changes annually and showcases key moments in the history of the Matane region.
