Exhibition « Écho du Présent - phase 2 » from Nina Dussault and Francine Ménard

From April 1 to 26, 2025, Tuesday to Saturday, from 10 AM to 5 PM.
At the Matane Lighthouse (968, avenue du Phare Ouest, Matane)

Two visual artists from the Matane region, Francine Ménard, a sculptor from Saint-Léandre, and Nina Dussault, a painter from Matane, will present their exhibition "Écho du Présent - Phase 2" at the Matane Lighthouse from April 1 to 26, 2025. The first phase was previously showcased at the Isabelle-Boulay Hall in Matane earlier this year.

The artists will be in residence, sharing their passion, artistic practices, and mediums while creating brand-new works on-site. They are committed to making art and culture accessible to all.

Additionally, they will offer discussion sessions and workshops (by registration):

  • Wednesday, April 9:
    • 9 AM - 10 AM: Discussion on Painting in Québec with Nina Dussault, painter.
    • 10 AM - 12 PM: Paint with Nina. Bring your easel, a blank canvas, and brushes. Group of 5 people. Register via email at nina.dussault@icloud.com
    • 1 PM - 2 PM: Discussion on Sculpture in Québec with Francine Ménard, sculptor.
    • 2 PM - 4 PM: Clay Modeling Workshop: Learn how to sculpt a proportioned head using air-dry clay. Materials provided. Group of 5 people. Register via email at tremafm@gmail.com
  • Wednesday, April 16:
    • 9 AM - 10 AM: Discussion on Painting in Québec with Nina Dussault, painter.
