The Festi-Mots festival celebrates literature in all its forms, accessible to everyone and honoring authors, artists, and creators from near and far. An initiative of the City of Matane since 2015, the 8^th edition of Festi-Mots will unfold under the theme of humor, bringing together literature lovers and word enthusiasts. From November 8 to 16, 2024, you’re invited to explore various aspects of humor through meetings, games, workshops, and shows. A can’t-miss event to celebrate the power of laughter and play through words!

Exhibit - "Décalé! The Unusual in Matane’s Press": Created from the SHGM collection, this exhibit offers an immersive look into local Matanie print media from 1945 to the present, featuring writings that provoke laughter and surprise. Available all November at the Isabelle-Boulay Hall.
