Frost and Dance / February Dance

Immerse yourself in winter through dance with Givre & danse, a welcoming and convivial event organized by EBJM Danse in partnership with Arts & Spectacles Matanie (ASM). Throughout February, Matane will be buzzing with dance parties, workshops open to all, and shows celebrating the diversity of choreographic styles in a warm and inclusive atmosphere!

Program:

• February 7 — Afrobeat Night at Club Moose: Afrobeat workshop at 7:30 p.m. followed by a dance party hosted by DJ FabYo.
• February 12 — Urban dance workshops at Studio EBJM Danse: Discover popping, Afro, and street dance with professional instructors.
• February 13 — Hautes Fréquences: A show dedicated to street dance and hip-hop culture at the Matane High School Auditorium at 6:30 p.m., with performances and DJ sets.
• February 20 — Country Night: Country dancing with workshop at Studio EBJM Danse.
• February 27 — Peau: A playful, bewildering, and luminous piece. An unusual choreographic proposal with screens, video projections, and live editing effects at the Matane High School Auditorium at 8 p.m.
• February 28 — Swing Day and Dance Party: Swing workshops starting at 1 p.m. and a festive dance party to close out Givre et danse at Manoir des Sapins in Sainte-Félicité.
