NEW!
Alice Douet, a member of Métiers d’Art du Québec, has been practicing pottery since 2017 and founded Hoya in 2021. Hoya offers handmade ceramics crafted in the municipality of Saint-Ulric, in the Matanie region. The collection mainly features everyday items such as mugs and tumblers, as well as pieces designed for flowers and plants.
"I believe beautiful objects contribute to our happiness and to the feeling of being at home. That’s the idea behind my creations: to make objects that enhance and elevate everyday life. Hoya emphasizes the uniqueness of each piece: by choosing not to measure them during the creation process, I allow each one to have its own personality. This deliberate choice gives you the opportunity to find the object that speaks to you and to build a connection with it."
Alice also offers pottery classes and workshops, whether you're a beginner or not!
Opening Hours: By appointment only, starting June 1st, 2025.
