Peau is a playful, bewildering, and luminous piece that brings both lightness and curiosity. An unusual choreographic proposal, Peau uses screens, video projections, and live editing effects. The artists on stage offer a continual mutation of their image: it is neither to magnify nor destroy it, but rather to use technology and textiles to create a constant transformation. All these skins collide, giving us a sense of what our epidermis experiences when bombarded with images on a daily basis. In contrast to a digital world that is often cold and geometric, the show instead presents technology as a return to oneself and to touch: an empathetic incursion as close as possible to the skin.
