The École de musique de Matane announces the second edition of Tidelidam!, a festival of traditional Quebecois arts taking place over four days in Matane, organized in collaboration with the Cercle de Fermières de Matane and EBJM Danse. Music, cuisine, and traditional arts are woven into our collective memory. The more we learn about this culture, the more we discover its connections to other traditional cultures. Tidelidam! is an event that invites you to discover the treasures of our culture.

Program

  • Thursday, November 28:
    • Weaving initiation workshop at 1 p.m. at Marie-Guyart with the Cercle de Fermières de Matane.
    • Opening happy hour at 5 p.m. at Isabelle-Boulay Hall at the Joseph-Rouleau Cultural Complex with violinist Émilie Brûlé.
  • Friday, November 29:
    • Happy hour at 5 p.m. at Isabelle-Boulay Hall at the Joseph-Rouleau Cultural Complex with Martin Henry and Laurie-Anne Bruneau.
  • Saturday, November 30:
    • Christmas Market by the Cercle des Fermières de Matane from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Marie-Guyart.
    • Gigue dance initiation workshop with Club Gigus at 12 p.m. at EBJM Danse.
    • Call dance night at 7 p.m. at the Cuisine collective de Matane with the group Domino (entrance $15).
  • Sunday, December 1st:
    • Christmas Market by the Cercle des Fermières de Matane from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Marie-Guyart.
