Mytik Shack-Sucré is a sugar shack located in Saint-René-de-Matane, known for its enchanting site open to the public. During sugar season in the spring, we process sap from our maple trees on-site to create a variety of products. Our products are available year-round in our on-site boutique, online store, and at several retail locations in the region. We stand out with our eco-friendly packaging, using pouches—a practical, durable, and sustainable option for an optimal experience. Looking for a group taffy-on-snow experience for a special event? We also offer the Cabane Mytik-Mobile service during sugar season!
Mytik Shack-Sucré is also a vacation destination with three recently built Scandinavian-style chalets, available for stays of at least two nights, year-round. Located directly on snowmobile and ATV trails, near the Matane Salmon River and the Matane Wildlife Reserve, it’s the perfect getaway for nature lovers. Learn more by clicking the link here.
Hiking trails, open year-round and accessible to all, allow you to explore the sugar bush and reach a breathtaking viewpoint over the Matane River valley. A lookout, playground, and terrace have been set up for visitors to enjoy. Before you leave, stop by the boutique to pick up delicious maple products made right here in Matanie!
